Immigration Series #2 (complicated):no adaption/problematic.

Bark, steel, waxed cord, image transferring. 2019

Series #3 (complicated):no adaptation/problematic. In this piece I focused on showing the percentages of undocumented immigrants from around the world who have relocated all over the US. The dots represent a recent demographic chart. The main purpose is to have the viewer physically bend over to get a closer look, with the intention to have viewers interact with the piece and have them question: what are the dots, what do they represent? and how the details are hard to see from a further distance. This action can help one identify the reality of how immigrant labor and presence goes by unnoticed or overlooked.. reminding themselves to acknowledge the print mark that immigrants have carved into the US American society.
